I’ve designed these little cards for the people who come to my church’s youth group to use each week. Each one shows a key verse or phrase from the gospel passage for the Sunday, from the lectionary, that we’ll be focussing on in the service. The kids will use them creatively in the the little notebooks we’ve given them.
They’ll also be used for other purposes too – Suse’s Faithscrappers group, and maybe as take-away cards for adults to help them remember and reflect on the sermon.
I printed them onto photo paper, then guillotined them to about 8cm width. I then used my all-time favourite piece of stationery: the corner rounder, to make them super fancy.
I’m happy for anyone to make use of them. You can download the images below:
Here’s how they fit with the lectionary:
- April 28: Peace [John 20.19]
- May 5: Breakfast [John 21.12]
- May 12: Voice [John 10.27]
- May 19: Love one another [John 13.34]
- May 26: Home [John 14.23]
Stop being so clever: you’re making the rest of us look bad
